I’m a Senior Designer at Columbia University Press, where I’ve worked for the past 15 years on many of their best-selling books. With a strong background in both book cover design and advertising art direction, I bring a wealth of experience to every project, specializing in creating covers that not only stand out on the shelf but also grab attention online—even as thumbnails.
What excites me most is taking complex ideas and transforming them into clear, visually engaging narratives. My work reflects a keen eye for design, balancing aesthetic appeal with thematic relevance to each book. I’m especially skilled at capturing the essence of a book’s content and mood and distilling it into a concept that catches the eye and speaks to the reader.
Collaboration is key to my process. I work very closely with authors and editors to ensure that each design aligns with their vision and marketing goals, producing results that are both creative and effective.
